By downloading, installing, or using UtaBridge ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

UtaBridge is a browser extension that provides real-time translation and romanization of Japanese song titles. The Extension uses Google OAuth to authenticate users and displays translated and romanized song information.

3. User Requirements

To use UtaBridge, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have a valid Google account for authentication
  • Have a compatible web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.)

4. License and Usage Rights

UtaBridge is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Extension for your personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the Extension
  • Copy or distribute the Extension without authorization
  • Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Extension's functionality

5. Third-Party Services

The Extension uses third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Google OAuth: Used for user authentication. Subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Translation Services: External APIs may be used to provide translation and romanization functionality.

You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

6. Intellectual Property

UtaBridge, including its name, logo, design, and all associated content, is the property of its respective owners and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Google™ is a trademark of Google LLC. UtaBridge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

7. Disclaimers

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Extension will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Translations will be 100% accurate
  • The Extension will be available at all times

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UtaBridge and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Extension.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
